Jon has experience across a broad range of industries, including financial, retail, solar, utilities, primary industry, building, tourism, and local government with clients of all sizes in the UK, Australia, and New Zealand.

Jon has been involved with cloud-based projects over the last 15 years and has worked on both cloud migration and greenfield Cloud based projects. He has a customer-first approach and is always willing to share knowledge, experience and explore different options for the right solution.

Jon doesn't believe in the status quo, he believes that just because it was done a certain way yesterday doesn't mean it has to be that way tomorrow, use the best tool for the job rather than that’s the way we have always done it.

Outside work, Jon is a keen cyclist having lost a bet a few years ago cycled around Taupo (160km) when he lived in Tauranga. He has also participated multiple times in the Tough Girl n Guy Challenge Rotorua. Since moving back to Christchurch he has reignited his passion for skiing and is looking forward to skiing some of the club fields. When he is not cycling, skiing, working, or refreshing his cloud knowledge (as we need to adapt weekly with new features) he can be found trying his hand at home-brew.
