Simon has been working as a consultant in the data domain for over 25 years and has worked with leading consultancies in APAC, EMEA and AMER during that time.

Simon takes pride in being relevant to Data Engineers’ customers and his qualifications backup his vast experience.  He has multiple MCSE's, a MCP in Azure big data, Biml Hero, Snowflake Advanced Architect, Snowflake Advanced Data Engineer, Snowflake Data Hero and is a Snowflake Certification SME.

He is also a co-author of a book and Data Warehouse Automation using Biml (Business Intelligence Markup Language).

Simon is a regular speaker at events like Code Camp, SQL Saturday, Microsoft Ignite and at his local SQL Server & Data Management User Group in Christchurch (which is he also a co-leader of).

At the weekends you'll find him out on his Skis or Motorbike with his children and friends.
